Sea Sick
Let’s have a go,
 A go at my thoughts,
 Take them from this expression,
 You always knew didn’t you,
Well why don’t you know anymore?
 Did you lose your mind?
 After you lost me too?

The fluid that runs through these veins
 Isn’t the blood, you spilled
Yeah, you spilled enough of that
 I’m just so sick,
 This weather has me choking,
 This rain, is pouring out
 This flood, is our pain

 You’ve got things to do,
 people to see,
You said, “I can’t do this,
I can’t take you with me
Save yourself before it’s too late
 Don’t you see?
 It’s too late for me.”

 Where is your skin?
 I can’t feel you anymore,
 Where have you been?

And if I knew how to make you happy
Well damn, I would’ve done it by now
Another fake smile, go ahead and fool everyone
While you hold a body, that’s not mine
Baby, you've left and I’m still lying in this bed
 I’ll be fine, just wait
 I’m gonna get mine

 Where is your skin?
 I hate these sheets,
 These memories,
They mock the person I tried to be.

 You left me behind,
 but just sit back,
 and you will find,
 I haven’t been washed away.

We can’t waste each others time, no not anymore
Cause you’re gone and I’m far too ill,
 But you’ve realized I’m floating,
Soon enough I’ll have reached the shore.

The sand will have healed my tattered wounds,
The waves will wash away our every sin,
As you drown in your sorrows,
 and search for your skin.
