I believed your promises
They were all that you had
And like me
They were empty and uncertain
And we kept playing in your head
And falling asleep in my bed
Now it’s time
For you to leave me alone
So I can grow up
Look how much I’ve already grown
It’s almost unfair
Now everything is over with
And like me
Found and restored
Now there’s nothing
I can afford
You took all that I had
I’ve changed
but not for you
Would you consider
Just this once
Changing for yourself too
You’re still so naive
