Watch the world

The sun is warm the sky is high
I watch as the cars go passing by.
We take little notice to these simple things
But to me this is what happiness brings.
The leaves turn when the clouds move
The lake ripples, when it becomes noon.
Ducks swim, frogs crock, birds fly.
And I observe as the day go’s bye.
