Summer Camp
Summer camp is filled with memories
Memories that can simply not be forgotten
Make friends, do activities, have fun
Jump in the pool, lay in the sun
What is there not to like about camp?
The first day of camp arrives, all the laughter, anxiety running high
All of the kids seeing their friends since last summer
Meeting their new counselors is always fun
But doing that first activity of the day is always most fun
Then comes lunch. Eating lunch is the social time at camp
Where everyone gets around and talks about all the fun they’ve had
After lunch kids go to their next activity that’s new and exciting
Throughout the day the kids get so much joy from playing in the sun
But in the end, the day must come to a halt
At the end of the day the kids are all so sad to leave
But it’s ok, because tomorrow is a whole another day.
