Age
She was too old to play with clay
But could always sit by the bay
Too young to go to the bars
Too old to wish to be a famous star

 Too young to drive around
But could always go with her friends uptown
Too old to cry about the stupid things in life
And way too young to become a wife

What could she do at her age?
Sit around and be in a rage
No, that wasn’t the way for her
She will have to make something occur

Maybe she should find a guy
One that would never say goodbye
That would work out just fine
She would never have to whine

He would always be by her side
And she would always have a ride
That is what she will do
Find someone older to be her beau
