Don't look down
You have me tight-rope walking on a piece of string,
the things I’ll do for you are incredibly insane.
And with no net below, who knows how far I will go.
There is a chance I might fall, but you make me believe that it would be worth it all.

I am not normally a risk taker, but there I was…in your arms.
I gave you my heart and trusted you no harm.
Trust is a strong word, and you broke all that we had.
And now I am scared to death, I am afraid of that fall.
When you changed your mind, it unbalanced it all.

Now you have me stepping in to a raging fire
My heart is burning, burning but no longer with desire
Pain is what I am feeling, and I am just beginning to let go.
 There is no net below
 I should have known.
