Endings of days or endings of seasons
The end of a song- last note in the air
The end of a trip- you finally get there
The end of a poem, last word in your mind
The end of a search: stop looking and find
The end of a day when the sun fades to black
The end of a choice: you can never go back
The end of a test and you sigh in relief
The end of summer with its first fallen leaf
The end of a writing is hardest to top
You have to decide that it's best now to
STOP
