Red as Roses
Roses are red,
 Violets are blue,
 I’m looking back
On my two months with you.

 Violets are blue,
 Roses are red,
 Sometimes I think
It was all in my head.

 Cool as a cucumber,
 Green as an eel,
 Then I wake up
And I know it’s all real.

 Bright as the sun,
 Green as the grass,
 More than all else,
 I want us to last.

 Sour as a lemon,
 Sweet as a pear,
 I’m happy to know
 That you’ll always be there.

 Red as a cherry,
 Blue as the sea,
 You tell me every day
 That you love me.

 Shiny as silver,
 Stuck like glue,
 You also know
 That I love you.

 Quiet as a mouse,
 Loud as a shout,
But how much do I love you?
 Kiss me and find out.
