They tell you that life is something
They tell you that life is something
 Important that you cannot squander,
Because if you treat it as though it were nothing,
When you die, all you can do is wonder

What it would’ve been, to be much fonder,
Towards those who were your everything,
And who now stand and ponder

Why it was you would tarnish the things
 You loved, tearing yourself asunder,
Because you’re unable to do anything
When you die; all you can do is wonder.
