I can't stop thinking about you
My knees start shaking,
 My heart begins to race.
 Why do I emotionally sink whenever I think about you?
 I constantly think about you and me, finally together at last.
 We met on a lone day back in August, it's been hard to let the thought of you go;
 Being by your side, caring for you, making you forever happy is my one and only goal.
 Why has sleeping become a challenge lately?
 Why is that smile of yours etched in my brain?
 And why do I lay in my chair and miss you all day and every day?
 Do you know why?
 I do, it's cause I love you and I promise you I always will.
 You're just too good to be true, and I will never take my eyes off of you,
 The reason I'm whole is due to the love I have for you.

So lucky. Have you told her yet? I guess I should stay mum, because I don't know the situation-- but like srry said, it's a beautiful poem, and she's a lucky one. If she's understanding, she might not even mind you write poetry. The only thing I'm concerned about is if I'm mistaken you for a guy when really you're a girl, in which case it all flips back around. ;) Or I'm terrible at perceiving such things.
