This Way
Our hearts mourn on Tuesday
 Our souls weep their tears
 We can’t quite describe it
 The sadness that leers
 The pressure keeps building
 Your heart soon will burst
You always keep wondering who will be first
To put the gun to her head and pull in the trigger
 Her life lived so simple
But to her it was bigger
Bigger than the power to stay
Bigger than their prayers to not take her away
If she were still here I know what she’d say
Cry no more, it’s better this way.
