Because We Can't Be

There's something about you that I can't let go,
It leaves me clueless but I'm dying to know.
Is it the way you act, or how you say my name?
All the things that I think of seem so lame.
I'd give anything to just get over you,
Because every lie you say seems so true.
You lead me on just to let me down,
Now I feel like some kind of clown.
Those two amazing nights I spent with you,
You held me so tight I stuck like glue.
I'm all alone now, because we can't be,
Together we are happy, but our parents disagree.
