Rain is falling on the window pain.
Clouds are shrouding us in moments, gracing us.
As I lie in bed, listening to the drops,
Splashing on my window.
Then I sit up in bed…
Wondering…What will today have in store
For me?
I roll out of bed, brush my teeth, take a shower, then
I go downstairs to get some coffee.
I go to work for a few hours, come home,
Then I nap. Later that evening, I do some school work.
That night, my family and I go out to eat with
The usual Sunday night crowd of people,
As a reminder to all of us that the next day is Monday –
And that we only have one more night
Until a whole other week starts.
That night, I lie in bed…Only then do I think:
What will tomorrow have in store for me?
