My Bathroom Mirror

Makes me secure about my appearance
Transforms my frumpy, frightful frowzy face
Into a golden, reborn innocence
Wishing for permanence, but that's not the case
Once I turn away, the beauty fades away
Mocked by my own sleazy, slack, shabby skin
Hopefully soon, it will be the day
When I look in any mirror and grin
And I can say that I finally win
