Worth Waiting For
Call me crazy
 Call me stupid
 But it’s not my fault
 I was shot by Cupid

 He’s got me hooked
And I just can’t shake the feeling he gives me
 He’s absolutely perfect
But that’s something he cannot see

People tell me not to wait
 “You’re just wasting your time.”
I see something they don’t see
 Something that could be mine

 I see his weaknesses
 While others see his strengths
The amount of happiness he fills me with
 Cannot be measured in lengths

There’s so much good in him
 He fails to see
 That he is nothing short
 Of amazing, to me

 I’m falling for him
I don’t know what to do
So, Cupid could you make this easier
 And shoot him, too?
