Goodnight, happiness,
Tonight I sleep with my tears,
And with much sorrow.
Die well, my aspiration,
My hope is quiet tonight.
Goodnight, sweet passion,
Let me rest without desire,
Let me wither now.
Goodnight, forever,
This darkness tastes of my fear,
And smells of my loss.
Die well, my poor weeping heart,
My faith is broken tonight.
Goodnight, die well love,
Keep your visions of my soul,
Take with you my all.
