Your Warmth
When I was little
I couldn't go to school without it
The one time I almost missed the bus
and we didn't hug or say goodbye
 I cried

 When I was older
We waved goodbye from a distance
Sometimes you weren't there at all
 But I never cried

When I was who I am now
 We hugged and kissed
 I still didn't cry
 but I do miss
 your warmth
 when its not there

 When I am older
and I no longer take the school bus
 and waving goodbye is different
I can't imagine not to cry
when I don't have your warmth
