Haikus of the Outdoors
The trees were so green
And the sky was a bright blue
 Around me it’s nice

 The wind did not blow
And the grass was not stirring
 So then it was peace

 The smooth pillow grass
And the pureness of the air
 Was a perfect mix

 The silence was soft
The burning sun beat down hard
 While we were writing

 With the day ahead
 Just waiting to unfold now
 I thought to myself

 With minutes passing
 And the seconds decreasing
 The day grew shorter

 The bugs crawled around
The birds flew into the sky
 While I sat right here

 The grass ever long
 The trees forever growing
 The world expanding

 There was a lone bee
 Flying ever so smoothly
 Wandered aimlessly

 But all in the end
 It was a wonderful day
 To be in nature
