a word, a thought
can be a bomb
maybe distraught
gone, thoughts of calm
could say sorry,
but thats weakness
going starry
thats not a guess
whats up isn't
and whats down can't
in mind's prison
resounding chant
I said something
I didn't mean
words painful sting
slipping between
don't regret
(only a little)
maybe a hit
way too brittle
we were both wrong
kinda silly
this goes too long
i mean, really
please forgive me
(you're at fault too)
I'll be guilt free
now get a clue!
