It hurts so bad, so do it again
You wretched, god send
This agonizing ache
This haunting reminiscence
My inspiration loves it so
When you fill my spirit
with doses of woe
only when you go
Does my teeming creativity
become fertile enough to sow
Let your flagrant negativity entrench me
So the wings of inspiration take off freely
Confine me in your irrepressible cage of doom
And like Houdini my inspiration will again resume
Leave me with a scar
It’s chilling reminder will set this dormant inspiration on fire
You lovely liar.
