Haven't learned anything at all--
I reach out
 trying to grasp the truth
 the realness of whatever I am
 the light to heal me
 but the darkness seems to find me eveytime
 there's never a good reason why
 and I stand in this river of forever sorrow
 much too long
 I fall apart
 with a broken heart
 hearing your name is hard
 and the word slip through the cracks
 and the silence kills me
 leaves me all alone
 you would think I have learned by now
 how much it hurts
 but the clouds part
 the sun comes out
 and turns out
 I haven't learned anything at all-
