Simply Me
I am simply me
I wonder where my life will lead me
 I hear everything and nothing
I see who I am and who I want to be
I want just to be happy
 I am simply me

I pretend that if I ignore a problem it will disapate
I feel like a goldfishie when I try to think
I touch the sky when I'm riding for the gold
I worry that nothing will ever go right
I cry for the things I know I can do but always hold myself back from
 I am simply me

I understand that nothing worth having is ever easy
I say that nothing ventured is nothing gained
I dream that one day I'll realize just how amazing I really am, instead of relying on others to tell me
I try to be respectful and nice
I hope that my friends will be there for me when I need them
 I am simply me
