tall thin grass
hiding
breath
a scratch
between the wedge of plaid
and faded denim
silence
thump
thump
heartbeats
a trickle of sweat
on a greasy forhead
silence
waiting
a faraway shuffle
smile
click
brown fur
and big black eyes
trigger
twitch
then motionless
blood stained fur
and frozen marble eyes
a beard covered crooked smile
a hunters smile
a killers smile
