Inside Nana's Jewelry Box
I am wrapped up in gold and silver,
The bands and studs and hoops.
I watch as the rings glisten,
And the chains lay in loops.

 I have found buried treasure!
A smile lingers on my young lips.
Dancing around, putting every item on,
Flipping around, and moving my hips.

I am a princess from far beyond!
I perform my best royal spin.
The jewelry on my hands glisten,
And I am at it again.

This time, I am a fortune teller.
I peer into my big, crystal ball.
My earrings droop, as I read many palms,
I can almost hear the spirits call!

At the end of my day, I pack up all the things,
And I return to just being me.
 Inside Nana’s jewelry box,
You never know who you will be.
