My Mirror
The girl I see before me
is broken and ashamed
She cannot move on with her life
for fear of being blamed
The light within her flickers
hope, she has no more
The shattered pieces of herself
Now lie on the floor
The problem with the mirror
is not the bloody smear
The problem with the mirror
is that everything's unclear
The girl I see before myself
I now realize is me
She wants to move on with her life,
but how can she let this be?
