Remember those days
When we had nothing to fear
And the plans for our future
Were so very clear
To be a cop
And fly a plane
Help a damsel
And save the day
But times have changed
And so have we
And I'm beginning to miss
How it used to be
Before we grew up
And lost our way
I wish that I could
Revisit those days
Of bed time stories
And pillow fights
Ice cream cones
And magical nights
When we dreamed of
Flying with Superman
Fighting crime
And playing in the sand
The days when
We could be anything
Remember the kid
You used to be
