Anger, sadness,
Hurt.
My best writing is gone now
And the best I can do now
Is put poignant
Phrases
Together in neat little
Uneven short lines
And hope they pass as bad poetry.
My best writing is gone now
Because the anger, sadness,
And hurt are gone…
Because you make me happy.
