Lunch
“Grumble, groan”
It just that time of the day again
 When kids start complaining
 “When does lunch begin?”

The teacher just ignores and goes on with the lesson
As kids attention spans start to lessen

Stares at the clock start to speed up
As pencils start to be put down
No one really cares then what the teacher is doing
As long as there is only 20 minutes of more math to be worked on

The clock’s ticking seems to yell
“Hey look at me, its still quarter till!”

Five minutes seem like a lifetime
Especially when thoughts of food keep popping into your mind

So just hold on tight because it’s almost time
To yell out lunch and run as fast as you can
