A Door Personified

I am the door,
Come inside my children,
I enjoy opening up
for the students.
I don’t think they appreciate
how I kept them safe inside,
Teachers always push me aside…
Making me want to cry,
But some treat me
friendly or even kind.
I am the door,
Come in and lets explore.
Today, you will learn some more…
