The Sun
Have you ever seen something so fantastic?
It shines and gleams above us
With its bright yellow color, looking drastic
Perhaps you’ve see it when you’re on the bus?

 The colors transform
 Orange, yellow, red, and pink
 Even when there’s a storm;
You may miss it so don’t even blink!

It comes at the crack of dawn when you start your day
 Just to say hello
Then it’s gone at night leaving only single rays
But don’t be mourning; for it will be back gleaming yellow

It provides us with heat to keep us warm and
 Gives energy to plants
 Even though it’s far away
It helps everything live and grow, even the ants

 Despite the things that alter
 The sun is always here
There will never be a falter
As it’s very near and dear
