forever the birds

forever the bees

buzzing around

and touching your knees

touching your hair

then shying away

saying they love you

then saying they're gay

teasing, flirting, wanting, wish

breakup, broken, heartbreak, kiss

they're soft and warm

they're hard and cold

they're always new

they get so old

they steal my voice

they make me scream

i'm too nervous to smile

so you make me beam

when i see them i'm blind

they're all that i see

it's my own choice

so my heart makes it for me

i wish i could dream

but i dream about wishing

speaking to boys

is like going cat fishing

perfectly perfect

yet never makes sense

never straight answers

and never pretense

easy to talk to

speechless around them

you think you look awful

feel like a priceless gem

they confuse you to pieces

easy to understand

and they're always together

spread out across the land

boys will be boys

need i say more?

sneak in through your windows

and leave through the door

lovable, huggable

rude, and a jerk

love you like sunshine

and treat you like dirt

you hate living with them

without them you'd die

we love them to pieces

God only knows why

aweome:) sweet poem, but i can totally relate with it

"you hate living with them, without them you'd die, we love them to pieces, God only knows why."
