George sat stiffly on the bank and looked at his right hand that had thrown the gun away
It jus' seems kinda funny, a cuckoo like him and a smart little guy like you traveling together
We kinda look after eachother
They had walked in single file down the path, and even in the open, one stayed behind the other

It jus' seems kinda funny, a cuckoo like him and smart little guy like you traveling together
Me an' Lennie's gonna roll up a stake
They had walked in single file down the path, and even the the open, one stayed behind the other
The little evening breeze blew over the clearing and the leaves rustled and the wind waves flowed up the green pool

Me an' Lennie's gonna roll up a stake
We got each other, that's what, that gives a hoot in hell about us
The little evening breeze blew over the clearing and the leaves rustled and the wind waves flowed up the green pool
I got you, and you got me

We got each other, that's what, that gives a hoot in hell about us
We kinda look after each other
I got you, and you got me
George sat stiffly on the bank and looked at his right hand that had thrown the gun away

This is a Pantoum poem based off of: Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck

It's a good story, so go read it. (:
