Shadow In The Hall MAG

By Anonymous

   Darkness overcomes your soul

Your soul is forgotten in time

A cry out isn't heard by you

So just close your eyes

And close your ears

Pretend you don't hear a thing

I won't tell a soul

I'm just a shadow in the hall

A passing breath on the wind

Blood spills over your hands

Screams numb your empty ears

So just close your eyes

So just close your ears

And pretend you don't hear

I won't tell a living soul

I see the empty seat

I see a desk without a person

But I don't realize quite why

Your guilt spills into my head

But please just close your eyes

And just close your ears

Pretend you couldn't hear

I won't tell a single soul

Blood never quite goes away

But I'll never open my lips

Because I'm just a shadow in the hall.
