Favorite Quote:
If we don't open our eyes now and see all of his lies, our eyes will never open again.

The dark abyss is never fine.
Within the hollowed doors we are last in line.
The silent scream of those in need.
Will you help them raise their seed?

Look to the ones who are in despair.
And look past the ones who never care.
Help those who are in need of it.
Don’t be the person who quietly sits.

The poor and the broken shall scream for life.
The rest of us live free as husband and wife.
While they all sit and wait
For the people filled with greed and hate.

Put thy life in their position for only a day.
You’ll find out in their life there is no way
For you to find much assistance.
We have to figure out what to do, and use our common cense.

Help the ones who cry to you.
Help the ones who try to stay true.
Help the ones who sit and bleed.
Help the ones who can never see.

Don’t pass by and stick up your nose.
Don’t look at them and try to strike a pose.
They need you to take your time,
And listen to their story, a sad little rhyme

The author's comments:
I basically wrote this poem to express how people may feel if they're homeless. I was in the city last sunday on the 18th, and i saw a homeless man on the street begging for money. I saw many people pass him by and not even look at him. I pitied the man, so I walked over to him and gave him some money. So that's what inspired me to write this.
