I wonder
Cars on the ground
 Go rushing on by
 I can’t help but wonder
 And ask the world why
 When and Who
 Where will you go?
 What is their purpose?
 Do they even know?
 Every person talks in code
 Every life walks a road
 Choices decisions
 Rules and laws
 Expectations confuse us
 And highlight our flaws
 Don’t listen to them
They know not what they say
 Remember forever
 What I tell you today
 Beautiful and different
 Just being yourself
So don’t listen to the lies
 Of everyone else

 The cars go on driving
 Keep rushing on by
 I still sit and wonder
 And ask the world why
 Where will you go?
 What will you do?
 This poem’s a reminder
 Of what we once knew
 Don’t let opinions
 Steal your joy
 They play with your mind
 As it was a toy
 Choose choices yourself
 There is no wrong answer
 Be an artist, a singer
 A writer a dancer
 Be yourself
 Be random, be fun
When it comes down to you
 There’s only one
