I'm so jealous
of the stories you tell
about him and you
it makes me want to yell
I'm so jealous
when I see you with him
in the hallway hand in hand
it reminds me of what could never have been.
I'm so jealous
that i'll always be third rate
always the last to get him
always the last to date
I'm so jealous
that you're prettier than me
thats all that they see
they don't see the real me.
I'm so jealous
because you're my best friend;
i can't tell you how I feel
and I can't even pretend
