Stolen or Broken?
Something here was stolen
 Had to have been
 Look at all this mess
 Obvious signs of distress
 Would you expect less
 Of a thief?

 And see how she cries
 So desperate to know
 What she no longer keeps
 The endless questions seep
 Into wounds so deep
 It's no wonder she weeps
 At the unknown

 The search continues
 But it's losing ground
As she tugs at her hair
 Wondering where
To cast her next anxious stare
But wait, what's that, over there
Something broken in an easy chair:
A spirit, not stolen but shattered
