An Act of Aching

Her delicate frame folded into your palms like rain drops sliding from spring petals into the earth,

Her movements were slow, sweeter than any fruit you had ever tasted.

Her eyes wanted you. Passion caught fire and burned down hesitation.

Her lips gathered yours, her breath swam in your ears.

Her hands crawled down your back, spider feet gathered your shirt and pulled it from your shivering figure.

Her favorite part; when you gave yourself to her. When you lost reason and gave away the truth.

Your thoughts evolving into forever, your actions set aside for love were given.

You tasted every moment, every minute was real, every hour sealed in your soul.

She robbed you of your clothing and your craving. Packed herself away into a damaged "This Side Up" down box, and never moved your way again.

"This, too, will pass."

Oh my Lord, this was amazing!!! I cannot express into words how awed this poem left me! It captures the reader's attention from beginning to end--- first stanza to last. It really made my heart race. Powerful stuff!
