Destruction Within Myself
I’m sitting in limbo,
Patiently waiting for the storm to pass overhead
So I can breathe once again

 They are waging a war
 Never ending and undefeatable
Even with this knowledge I want it to end

 It’s a constant struggle
Both with balanced power and determination
 And victory in their spirit

 I stand there silently
 Like an innocent bystander
 A butterfly amidst the flames

 I cannot stop it
 Their savage attitudes
 And scornful stares

 So I’ll wait here tolerantly
 Allowing my mind to deteriorate
Falling into the pit of my despair.
