World On Fire
Hurry, Hurry the world’s on fire
 better go higher
 or drown in the fire

 I weep in suffocating fog
 in pelting water
 from ahead
 that knows no life

Hurry, Hurry the world’s on fire
 better go higher
 or drown in the fire

 It pelts my saturated clothes
but the fire around me is nothing g
 nothing but warmth
 and I reject it

Hurry, Hurry the world’s on fire
 better go higher
 or drown in the fire

 No I’ll stay
 with my water
 and fire
 and fog

Hurry, Hurry the world’s on fire
 better go higher
 or drown in the fire

Both water and fire and besieging me
 hatred
 and sorrow
 but I ignore it

Hurry, Hurry the world’s on fire
 and not so nice
 to people who desire

 Just water
 Just fire
 Just me
 Just alone

Hurry, Hurry the world’s on fire
 and not so mean
 to people that are clean

 No
 but the chant continues
 “Not me, not me”
 but it ignores me

Too late, Too late the world’s on fire
 and you didn’t go higher
so now you drown in fire.
