This is a delicate matter
and Im barking up the wrong tree
Im pulling all the wrong teeth
you might as well be screaming at me:
"stop looking at me.
I dont care, I dont fight fair
I dont care about you."
but you still know how to put up a fight
you know all the things to do to keep me up at night
just breathe,
i'll get no sleep
day dreaming of everything i wish you'd say to me.
A ridiculous notion to believe
that day it could have dawned upon you
that I could love you too.
An exaggerated possibility
to ever think you'd grow to me
that every time your eyes flash to me
you die a little inside, so suddenly angry at the nearest object in sight
a foolish, naive idea
that never should have been brought to life.
and now you're gone, ecstatic without the need to know
you're killing me, youre driving me to insanity
you rip and you tear, you dont fight fair
youre digging my grave, every move you make
too bad i'm not allowed to care
