Stubborn Love
I see it developing
 Blooming in spring
Our eyes see the same thing
 But our feet won’t move

And now our hands won’t cuff
And our lips will never seal
The stubbornness of fear and rejection
Makes us immediately turn the other way

 Creating our own lust
But too afraid to stir the pot
 And therefore nothing will boil

 We need each other
We want what we know is just an arm’s length away
And yet our fingertips will never touch

 Let’s just forget our inhibitions
 Let’s free from the world
 And join
With every part of our souls
