The Beast and the Mast
"The world has flipped to the past,"
they said, "Wen't need to fear the cast."
But 'twas the gleaming Horn that gave
the barn a sudden shake.
No'on knew it broke in the wake,
the shed sunk and became aflake.
The Mast exclaims and whipped it alas,
"What stunts are these!" he raged forelast.
The beast brought back to grazing cattle,
loast to the grass's pestilent battle.
"The world has flipped to the past,"
they said, "Wen't need to fear the gold-glast."
The bull with a man’s heavy heart, could
thrast the gate and tear the system apart.
But the coin was cold and the whip was fast,
the worker was loast to the minder-vast.
The Mast exclaims and whipped it again,
"What tricks are these!" he raged in vain.
The beast rose up from the muddy floor,
and kicked at the wealth of the Mast’s own door.
The brawl went blue and the sky went black,
but the bull did not turn his laboring back.
"The world has flipped to the past,"
they said, "Wen't need to mock the Mast."
The bull that got a man's courage, could
thrast the world, even break the goud (bank).
The brawl that went blue and black,
remained in power of the maniac.
The Mast exclaims and whipped it afast,
"What knacks are these!" he raged a'last.
The beast didn't back to grazing cattle,
and fought back against the Mast's saddle.
"The world has flipped to the—"
"Better," he said,
For the bull now held the Mast's handel.
The world was yet to break the trammel,
but the gears of greed spun once again,
and made the Beast the Mast to vain.

A rhythmic, nonsense-style poem that explores the repetitive struggle between the worker and the master. It follows a 'Beast' who finally finds the courage to fight back, only to realize that the cycle of greed is harder to break than the people in charge.
