Princess dresses and princes
I used to think that love would always win and fix everything when I was little, but what if it’s just not enough? What if two people love each other so much but the inevitable is too far in front of them to even give love a real chance anymore, what if the other let’s go faster then you can even attempt to try and grab at something that never was? What if love never won at all? What if fairy tales and love stories were all just made to be pretend to give someone, just a child a false narrative of what love is, white horses, princess dresses and princes don’t exist, if it did love would always win but it doesn’t, it hurts, steals, kills and makes you question your own identity and sense of self, don’t let love break you, once you get hurt by the person who loves you, you’re heart might just fly into the air and become nothing but dust maybe then and only then you’ll realize that love was never meant to be enough, so when you’re going back and reading those fairytale stories this time you might see the consequences in each “princess” love story.
