A Sun on a Cloudy Day
MINNI, THE SUN ON A CLOUDY DAY,
HER LAUGHTER A BREEZE THAT SWEEPS WORRIES AWAY.
WITH OPEN ARMS AND A HEART THAT’S KIND,
SHE’S THE TREASURE IN LIFE WE’RE LUCKY TO FIND.
IN HER PRESENCE, TIME SEEMS TO SLOW,
MOMENTS OF JOY IN HER LAUGHTER’S GLOW.
HER STORIES BLOOM LIKE FLOWERS IN SPRING,
FILLING THE AIR WITH THE JOY THEY BRING.
SHE PAINTS THE WORLD WITH WARMTH AND LIGHT,
A TOUCH OF GRACE IN THE DARKEST NIGHT.
HER KINDNESS RIPPLES, HER CARE RUNS DEEP,
IN MINNI’S LOVE, WE FIND PEACE TO KEEP.
WITH EVERY SMILE, SHE LIFTS OUR DAYS,
GUIDING US GENTLY THROUGH LIFE’S MAZE.
NO TASK TOO SMALL, NO BURDEN TOO GREAT,
MINNI’S LOVE IS A STEADY, COMFORTING STATE.
TODAY WE HONOR HER SPIRIT SO BRIGHT,
A SHINING STAR IN LIFE’S ENDLESS NIGHT.
MINNI, ON YOUR BIRTHDAY, WE GATHER NEAR,
YOU FILL OUR LIVES WITH WARMTH AND CHEER.

I wrote this poem to express my appreciation for my aunt, Minni, and the warmth she brings into the lives of those around her.
