Paint Chip Poetry by Sophia
When I was little, I sat in the dark after the fire watching outer space.
The smoke and ash from it went past the iron gate.
That same night, a total eclipse was in sight.
Everyone came out to see.
The panther came with the black cat,
The raven with the dragonfly.
The night owl also showed up and even the black widow.
