sober
Helpless, weak, and ashamed,
The feeling of only to be blamed,
Trying to leave my feelings behind,
But got caught in this innocent crime,
My lifeless soul begins to fade,
Writing on my head,
When I wake just wishing to be dead,
My hands shake as I begin to dial,
Glued to the bathroom tile,
Now with sleepless nights in bed,
That night feeling on the top of the world,
And the pain makes me want to hurl,
Awaking to be sober.
