I hope I have made you proud
I hope you are proud to say "That’s my baby"
I hope I have carried on your legacy
I hope your bragging to all your friends about me
I hope I have made you proud.

One day we will reunite
Maybe one day we can talk about my highs and flaws.
But that day will have to wait...
Today, only the vast blue sky and soaring birds’ separate us.
One day we will reunite...

The author's comments:
This was written as soon as I got home from a championship basketball game. I miss grandfather so much that taughts of him make me cry. Although he has been dead for five years now, tears still appear everynight. Writting poety is the only way for me to deal with his loss.
