Almost gone, there! Twirling!
Fireflies dance against the black stroke of the night.
Here's a chance to shine and glow
A dying battery, that's it,
How long do we have until the chemicals slowly trickle away?
Gasping their last breath as the reaction occurs
In a display of light?

But I can't find my charger, oh
Where can it be?
I see no source of power in sight.
Meanwhile, our batteries are wheezing
In a cacophony of Death.
Is that all we have to live for?
A series of chemical reactions?

Well, this surely must be it.
Let's buzz aflame and show who we are.
Idiots? Oh no, not here.
We don't have those.

Hey this isn't so hard!
We'll push our way through, swimming,
Swimming and twirling through this impossible darkness.
Let me scrape that off for you.
You don't need that burnt ash.
It's not flattering.
Really.

So why exactly again do we dance
against this backdrop of moral superiority?
You're here, you must be excellent.
Surely you burn as well. No?
Quench that fire! Quench that light!
Oh dear. That's definitely can't work.
It makes your butt look fat.
