She sits there alone hurt and bleeding

Inside she's screaming "I HATE THIS LIFE"

And oh she's so young, to young to feel this way

How did it all come to this?-

She sais it always comes to this.

*And this is the cry of so many,

so why do we all feel alone?

I'm dying to find a new ending,

Or will we all end up alone?*

"I'm tired" she sais, "but it's so hard to rest

when the pain owns you even in dreams."

Oh how her eyes plead when they look up at me -

"Can you make it all go away?"

*And this is the cry of so many,

So tell me why do we all feel alone?

I'm dying to find a new ending,

But will we all end up alone?*

So She's rocking herself to the music

That sais all the things she can't say

And though She's no reason to use it,

She summons strength for one more day.

When she looks in the mirror she shudders,

She doesn't recognize her own face

She sais she just wants to disappear,

Sais she's so tired of this place

*And this is the cry of so many,

So why do we all feel alone?

I'm still dying to find a new ending,

Or will we all end up alone?*

PLEASE DON'T LET US ALL END UP ALONE.

The author's comments:
There's so many people out there hurting, holding themselves because they find noone else, and the pain cuts deeper than any release they can seek. Why is it so hard for people to reach out? Whatever happened to helping each other? Just because your in pain doesn't mean you have to shut down and lock yourself away and be angry at the whole world. Yeah, the world today sucks. So can't we use our pain to create empathy and compassion within ourselves so that we can reach out to others, and through that become stronger somehow? Everyone needs sometimes, and we're really not all that different from each other, We all feel and hope and need and fear. That's what I was speaking about in this poem.
